Culprit is a daily detective puzzle. A new case opens every evening, everyone in the world gets the same one, and your solve time is the score.

Common questions
How do I play? Read the clues, then name the culprit — plus the method and the time on harder cases. Every case has exactly one answer that the clues prove; nothing is guesswork. A wrong accusation adds 15 seconds to your time.
Is my streak gone if I miss a night? A streak counts consecutive nights solved, so missing a night restarts it. Cases you play from Browse or the archive are practice and never affect your streak.
What does Detective's Pass include? It removes ads: hints and archive cases open immediately instead of after a short video. Tonight's case is always free to solve either way, and the Pass never gives you answers.
How do I cancel my subscription? On iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play app, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the Pass until the period you already paid for ends.
I paid but the Pass isn't active. Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases. If it still doesn't appear, email us.
